Professional Profile:

Chris LeahyMartha Durcan has more than 20 years of professional experience in a variety of operational roles for both privately and publicly-traded companies.  More than ten of those years were spent at Parametric Technology Corporation (“PTC”), a publicly-held software company with offices around the globe. During Martha's tenure at PTC, the company grew from $44 million in revenue to nearly $1 billion.  Just prior to her departure from PTC, Martha held the position of SVP of Corporate Development responsible for evaluating and implementing corporate strategy initiatives.  She formed and chaired PTC’s Corporate Investment Council, a cross functional team chartered with identifying areas of strategic focus and recommending partnering, investment and M&A alternatives to the CEO.  Martha has led negotiating teams, both domestically and internationally, involving strategic alliances, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and investments.  She initially joined PTC as the company’s first in-house counsel to build an infrastructure to support PTC’s business initiatives and manage the company’s legal affairs.  Martha also ran the Human Resources organization and had responsibility for the Real Estate department, during which time she oversaw the construction and sale/leaseback of the company’s $100 million headquarters project, which came in on time and on budget.  Prior to joining PTC, Martha was an associate at Goodwin Procter LLP.  Before entering law school, Martha was Vice President in a boutique municipal securities firm which she helped establish following a successful stint selling municipal bonds.
